Humanitarian Outreach & Apostolate
Translating Catholic faith and Marian devotion into direct, life-changing support for orphans, motherless babies, and destitute widows.
1. Orphanage Home Apostolate
Our members and consecrated devotees live and work alongside orphans and motherless babies in our partnering orphanage homes. We believe every child deserves maternal warmth, moral guidance, safety, and Christian affection.
From infant nutrition to day-to-day caregiving, AMHO members dedicate their time to ensure that no child feels abandoned by God or society.
Matthew 25:35
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me."
2. Educational Formation & Scholarships
Education is the bedrock of dignity and self-reliance. AMHO identifies orphans who have been forced to drop out of school due to the loss of their parents or extreme financial hardship.
We provide full and partial academic scholarships, covering school fees, standard uniforms, textbooks, and moral formation grounded in Christian values and discipline.
Sound Academic Learning
Equipping orphans with sound academic learning, ethical formation, and trades so they can face life with confidence and spiritual integrity.
3. Hospitals Apostolate
In many rural communities, impoverished patients and widows face severe illness without the means to afford basic medications or hospitalization fees.
Rooted in the founder's experience at St. John Catholic Hospital Kabba during NYSC, AMHO continues to visit medical centers, pray with the sick, and provide direct financial subsidies for emergency treatments and malaria care.
Matthew 25:36
"I was naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me."
4. Care for Destitute Widows & the Elderly
Visiting old people’s homes and rural villages, our volunteers provide food packages (rice, yams, clean water, and nutritional staples), companionship, and prayer support to destitute widows and the lonely elderly.
We ensure that those who have outlived their families or face abandonment are treated with the dignity and reverence Christ demands for every human soul.
Communion Feeding
Uniting communities monthly through shared communion meals, peace-making, and distribution of food supplies to struggling parish families.
