Our Lady Mary Help of Orphans, Pray for Us and of the Whole World
Welcome to Mary Help of Orphans
The Apostleship of Mary Help of Orphans (AMHO) is an International Roman Catholic charitable mission and devotional prayer group. It began when founder Kennethmary Ebuka Akachukwu received a divine calling on May 31, 2017, at the age of 24 while a 200-level student of microbiology, during a Wednesday silent moment with the Lord at the Chapel of Adoration, Osisatech Polytechnic (Chaplaincy Owo campus, Nkanu East L.G.A., Enugu State, Nigeria).
Following five years of private prayer and the composition of our official devotional resources, the apostolate was first gathered publicly at the grotto of Our Lady at St. Mary Catholic Church, Ihuokpara, Enugu State, on November 21, 2021 (the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary). The mission subsequently expanded to Sacred Heart Parish, Kabba, in Lokoja Diocese, and continues to spread throughout dioceses across Nigeria and abroad.

Spiritual Works of Mercy
Offering continuous prayers and liturgical intercessions for the moral revival of humanity and the protection of orphans and widows.

Stepping directly into the margins to provide food, shelter, education, and healthcare to orphaned children and destitute widows.
